Yoga literally changed Annerosa’s life. Yoga has taught her to turn inwards, to breath, pause and soften. To be present in her body and how to listen to her body, something she believes has been lost in the current world.
In 2017, Annerosa completed her 200hr teacher training with Kate Lane.
She was also drawn to the slow practice of Yin Yoga and guided meditation of Yoga Nidra. In 2019 she completed her 65hr Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra training with Jo Phee. Since then she has completed 176hr study with Yoga Medicine and Tiffany Cruikshank.
During her full time dance studies Cushla discovered her love of yoga which made a huge impact on how she viewed herself, others and the world.
In 2019 she completed her 200 hour RYA Yoga Teacher Training with Basecamp Power Yoga.
She has further trained with Apollo Power Yoga and has completed her Platinum Pilates Course with Studio Pilates International. Cushla loves to share with others how amazing, capable and powerful their bodies are and how we can forever be in awe of it.
My practice has evolved and is ever changing as my life moves through its ebbs and flows. Now being a mum to 3 young daughters I appreciate slower and more grounding practices alongside my vinyasa practice. I've undertaken specialist training with Tiffany Cruikshank around Women's Health Yoga and have completed advanced training with Jason Crandell. Both of these trainings have greatly influenced my teaching style and are the basis from which I develop my classes.
I teach vinyasa flow, yin and restorative yoga. My aim is to make my classes inclusive and safe while also providing some challenges and opportunities for growth, both physically and mentally. I love to explore themes of self compassion and breath within my teachings.
I have been dedicated to my yoga practice since after the Christchurch Earthquake in 2011. After developing PTSD from a traumatic experience during the quake, I felt disillusioned and unsafe in my body. Yoga was the catalyst in helping me to develop a harmonious and intimate connection with my body, mind and breath. I embody softness, spirituality and inclusivity in my teaching style. Every class I teach has a specific focus and intention. My teachings will always include a full and well-rounded practice, including Asana, Pranayama & Meditation. My intention for teaching yoga is to enable students to peacefully connect with all elements of their being, so they can acknowledge the bright spirits that shine within them.
I completed my 200 hour Hatha & Ashtanga training in Rishikesh in 2018, and since then have completed over 300 more hours of training in Yin, Yoga Therapy and Anatomy. I am currently studying toward becoming a certified ParaYoga teacher of Tantrik Hatha with Mary Johnson-Coursey, which is a 2 year process.
Lisa Tregenza has been practicing yoga for over twenty years and has fully embodied her style of movement and mantra to support herself and her clients through many life challenges. Lisa is a qualified Yoga Teacher, an Intuitive Coach, a busy mum of 3 and an entrepreneur.
She is passionate about delivering accessible mind, body, heart and soul connected yoga sequences, that support physical wellness and emotional clearing.
Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin are the styles of yoga that Lisa weaves into her movement + mantra philosophy with her intuitive heart centred style of teaching. Her intention is to guide you to connect with your own inner strength and peace, feeling empowered and grounded in your radiant energy.
While pregnant with our son I found my yoga practice evolved as my body changed in order to nourish my little seed. As a yoga teacher I enjoyed navigating old familiar shapes while making modifications to suit my changing body. My practice also became a chance to connect with our baby and practice skills to assist with birth.
During my first pregnancy I jumped at the chance to cover the odd prenatal class and loved being able to connect with the other mothers in the room. It was here the seed was planted and I began to dream of starting prenatal classes after having our baby.
Now as a mother of two, nurse, and specialist pregnancy yoga teacher I completely understand the changes your body and mind can experience. It is a privilege to share part of this journey towards birth and motherhood with you.
I dabbled in yoga as a teenager but really came into my own practice as a means of grounding through intensive aerial circus training and 5 years backpacking. This landed me in the homeland of yoga to complete my Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India in 2019.
Yoga in any of its forms takes me to a state of flow and interconnectedness and it's this magic that I love being able to share as a teacher. I use pranayama, gentle asana flow and relaxing meditation to help assist and guide students to find their own version of blissed out presence in what can often be the rush of life.
Audrie has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years. She liked the way it felt from her first class and has loved it ever since.
In 2011 she started teaching yoga and discovered her passion for helping people feel the joy of moving their bodies. Challenges with her own health meant she didn’t continue with teaching. Now with hip joint replacements she is able to share my yoga passion again. Audrie has completed her 200hr and is currently studying the next 300hr course.
Zita first came to the mat at age 12, accompanying her mother to a bikram yoga class. She fell in love with the movement, and over the years practiced on and off, until 2018, where her practice became fully integrated into her life.
Now, a fully qualified teacher through Creature Yoga in Byron Bay, she is a passionate learner and committed to continuing her training and education, learning all about the mind body connection and how to best facilitate this in her vinyasa styled classes.
Kobie’s yoga journey started in 2016. Since then she has taught at various studios around Melbourne, country Victoria and Christchurch. As a massage therapist, Kobie’s knowledge of the health sciences influences her intelligently planned sequences designed to leave you standing tall, breathing deeply and moving freely.
