By definition, 'infantile colic' is when a baby cries inconsolably for more than three hours per day, more than three days per week, for longer than three weeks. This may be a surprise to some, as many see colic as a disease or condition.

Colic affects up to 40% of children worldwide. Chiropractic is a safe and effective choice for even the smallest members of society. In one study researchers showed that babies who received chiropractic care cried significantly less than those who did not receive care. THEIR CRYING TIME REDUCED BY 50%!!! Chiropractors modify their techniques to suit the age, anatomy and physiology of the person. The way a chiropractor adjusts an infant is very different to the adjustments that are made to adults.

Parents of infants suffering from colic should consider giving chiropractic a go because it could make a real difference to both the baby and their family.

A big thanks to Dr Heidi Haavik & The Reality Check for the research.
