These experiences have shaped his well-rounded, compassionate approach to care.
Seven years ago, Matt and Alex returned home to Christchurch to start their family and establish Connect Chiropractic—their dream practice. Matt looks forward to helping you achieve your health goals.
Dr Matt may be familiar to you from his regular appearances on the 'The AM show' and his segment with Piri Weepu on 'Match Fit'.

Ruby grew up in Christchurch and has always had a strong desire to help others live healthier, more fulfilling lives. After studying at the New Zealand College of Massage and working as a massage therapist for six years, she realised that while massage offered great benefits, chiropractic care could address a broader range of physical and neurological challenges. This insight led her to pursue further study at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.
Ruby has a particular passion for supporting individuals with chronic symptoms and creating a welcoming, empowering environment where people feel heard and supported. She also has a strong interest in paediatric and pregnancy care, working with people of all ages to support long-term wellbeing.
Outside of practice, Ruby enjoys spending time outdoors—especially gardening and being in the ocean—as well as quality time with friends and family. She looks forward to supporting you on your journey to healing and achieving your health goals.
